PHAROS CENTRUM BRATISLAVA – Medzinárodná súťaž, do ktorej som bol vyzvaný investorom – developerom. Veľké územie s rozlohou mestskej štvrte nezastavaného územia medzi telesom diaľnice a letiskom sme riešili na základe motta – nové, ale zelené a ekologické. Nová mestská štvrť je založená na prírodnom meandri pôvodného dunajského ramena v doplnení o fenomén vody a o zeleň vo forme anglických parkov. Objekty budov sú osadené v zeleni. Ich výška je limitovaná podmienkami letiska. Prepojenie s nákupno administratívnou štvrťou AVION – IKEA sme navrhli pešie ponad diaľnicu zeleným valom.

PHARAOS CENTRE BRATISLAVA – The international competition, into which I was invited by an investor-developer. A large territory covering the area of the unbuilt urban district between the motorway body and the airport was solved according to the motto – “new developments, but green and ecological”. The new urban district is based on the natural meander of the initial Danube branch, employing the water phenomenon and green vegetation in the form of English parks. Buildings are set in the green environment. Their height is limited by airport conditions. According to our design, the interconnection with the shopping and administrative Avion-Ikea district is pedestrian behind the motorway along the green embankment.
