Súťažný návrh na mnohofunkčnú budovu dnes svetoznámeho kultúrneho centra. Architektonický návrh bol založený na pravouhlej asymetrickej kompozícii T tvaru a terasovitou gradáciou hmoty od dvoch nádvorí k akcentu horizontálnej plnej hmoty knižnice. Budova svojím objemom zapadala do horizontu okolitých budov, tvarovaním bola v kontraste s okolím, pričom rytmus okolia prebrala zvýraznením tektoniky, konzolami nosných prvkov. Striedanie presklených a stenových plôch bolo vyvážené v proporcii s okolitou zástavbou.

THE CENTRE OF POMPIDOU – PARIS – A competition design for today’s world-renowned multi-purpose Cultural Centre building. The architectonic design was based upon a rectangular asymmetric T-shaped composition with terrace gradation of the building material from two courtyards to an emphasis on the full horizontal mass of the library. The building, as regards its volume, fitted into the horizon of the surrounding buildings, while its shape was in contrast to the surroundings. At the same time the building took over the rhythm of the surroundings by emphasizing tectonics, using consol-bearing elements. The alternation of glass and wall surfaces was balanced in proportion to the surrounding built-up area.
